How to Order from Angelic Pretty

Welcome back!

Today I want to show you another "How to". This time featuring Angelic Pretty.
Since they opened their online shop for international we have access to their whole variety of items.
But there's one thing that gives many girls and boys headaches: Everything's still in Japanese.Actually they have a shopping guide on their page - you guessed right, it's in Japanese as well.

Oh boy...

So here we go. I promise it's easier than you think.

First of all you'll need an adress provided by Tenso. If you don't have one you need to register at their page or otherwise you won't be able to order from Angelic Pretty. They only accept international orders with a Tenso adress.

Select everything you like to order and put it into your cart.

The pink button puts something into your cart and is definitly in stock.
The white button puts the item into your cart but needs to be ordered from another store and it could be sold out before your order is processed.
Sold out is sold out. Try your luck on the secondhand market.

When everything is in your cart you want to check out.
You already have an account? Great, just log in and skip the following part. Otherwise you want to register first, select the button on the right side.

To register you need to fill all fields with a bown kanji box in front of it. You'll also need to provide your full name in kana, Katakana if you have a western name. For example you can use this convertor to get your name in Katakana.
I already filled in most of Tenso's information as they are always the same. XXXXXX stand for your personal number provided by Tenso which is like your identification number.
Use the drop down menue to choose the prefecture (I forgot to select it). You'll find it on your Tenso profile.
Birthday and security question are optional but maybe they will bring you some benefits in the future.
Unfortunatly the security question is in Japanese only. Better take a screenshot of it.

After registration or login you will see your shipping information.
Now you need to choose your preferred payment and shipping methode.
You can add a new adress or choose another shipping adress if necessary.
It's very important that you choose "Creditcard" as your payment methode because Tenso doesn't do cash on delivery and will reject any package which isn't already payed.
For my part I leave the delivery part as it is.
You can use your collected point to get a discount by choosing the upper option.
Anything you want Angelic Pretty to know? Leave a comment in the box.
When you click next you will be directed to your controll page. If everything is ok, hit next.

This is the last step of your order. It's time to take out your creditcard.
I think you can choose how often you like to pay with the drop down menue, but I'm not sure how it works. I always leave it on the first option which is single payment.
You can save your information for future purchases which may be a benefit for very sought after releases (also known as bloodbath). Please notice that I had major problems with this option and I couldn't complete my order because I checked the box. This has to be a bug but if you come across this problem as well, just uncheck the box and hit the dark pink button.

Oh!? Wow, you made it! Congratulations on your purchase!
You'll get a confiramtion mail from Angelic Pretty.

All you need to do now is to wait until you get an email from Tenso telling you to pay for shipping and fees.

I really hope this guide helped or will help you with your order.

See you soon.

Making a brooch/headdress

Hello my dears,

Yesterday I met up with two lovely friends and did some crafting.

With some delicious christmas cookies (yes, it's already November and christmas items are totally ok now!) and coffee we poured all our supplies onto the table to get a hold of what we have and what we can do with it.
Lace, fake flowers, fake leaves and ivy, fabrics, pearls.

I gathered a lot of lace to fullfill one of my desired projects. A lace-shabby-chich brooch.
In my opinion Shabby Chic and Mori Girl have a lot of things in common especially aesthetic wise, so I gave it a try.
If you search for 'Shabby Chic Lace Brooch' on Youtbe you'll find tons of great tutorials. I got a lot of inspirations from this one:

Aren't they lovely? Very talented.

Unfortunatly I forgot a lot of leftover lace at home, because I stored them in my desk instead of my crafting box. Whoops. But my friend had a huge bag full of cotton lace and she gave me some of hers.

Well, I'm not very crafty or creative but let's share the final product.

It was very easy, except gathering the lace. Why did nobody told me that you need fine motor skills?
But all you need is a hot-melt gun, a little piece of felt/fabric for the back, lace, lace and more lace, maybe some decoration like flowers or pearls and patience. Perfect for people who can't sew, like me.

In the end I like it. That's what matters, right? Right.

It still need a brooch pin, right now it only has a clip glued on. So practically it's a headdress.

I will definitily do more of these, they are fun to do and a good way to use leftover lace.
Let me know if you made some yourself, I would love to see your's.

See you!
Blushing Rabbit.

Little Red Riding Hood and the Hunter

Hello my dears,

Back in early spring my friend from Vietnam visited me in Germany.
This was a very special occassion for us, as it was only the third time we met. Luckily Trang and I had more time than just a few hours so we took a daytrip to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a lovely little town with a beautiful and breathtaking historic city center.

I visited this town the first time when I attended the Lacebook teaparty in summer 2014. We took part of a guided tour and were the main attraction for the other tourists. But in winter/spring there are just a few tourists so we enjoyed our stay way better although it was very cold.

When Alice and the Pirates released their Le Petit Chaperon Rouge and matching Gustave series Trang and I decided to do a couple outfit when we meet. Rothenburg was just a perfect placed to be with it's wonderful castle garden which looked a bit foresty in this season. In summer it's in full bloom and so colorful, also a very beautiful setting for a shooting.

In the beginning we tried to take couple inspired pictures as the Hunter saved Little Red Riding Hood from the Wolf and they lived happily afterwards. Did you notice the little illustration of Little Red Ridinghood and the Hunter in the Print where they hold their hand and look into eachother's eyes? This made me buy the print...
But we failed on doing this, mostly because my boyfriend was taking the pictures, which was very awkward... Also shouldn't be the hunter the tall one? Switched roles I guess.

Nothing worked like we planned it so we switched to a more sibling-esque atmosphere which worked so much better. Now the Hunter was Little Red Riding Hoods loved brother who keeps her save.

Fun fact: If you're a fan of Shingeki no Kyojin you might know that Rothenburg is a walled town like Nördlingen, which are the main inspiration for their city design. You don't find walled cities that often in Germany anymore. So if you do some SnK cosplays, go to Rothenbug or Nördlingen and take some awesome pictures!

Hopefully you enjoyed the pictures.

See you soon

Paris Shopping

Bonjour !

Although La vie en Rose is already a while ago I still want to post about it.

Paris is like a (European) Lolita's dream for in-store shopping - Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, Axes Femme for major Japanese streetfashion brands and many many small boutiques and secondhand stores.
Baby opened a crêpe café a while ago and serves Japanese style crêpe, so if you're craving for something sweet you should totally try them.

I visited Paris with one of my best friends and did some shopping combined with sightseeing the days before the actual event.

Baby, the Stars Shine Bright

The shopfront is so cute, isn't it?

Lately Baby Paris gets all major releases, but only what is left after reservation, so they have a good and up-to-date selection of dresses and blouses. They also have special reservation periods for all new releases, if you really want a release contact them! Also their customer service is very good, in-store and online!
Like the Japanese shops they offer a pointcard, with every 30€ purchase you get one point. If you collected 20 points you get 30€ off your purchase over 100€. The special thing about their pointcard: It doesn't expire!
They also offer a pointsystem for online purchases.

Axes Femme

They cater more to a Gyaru-ish and girly style, but you'll easily find items which work very well with Lolita and Mori Girl, like blouses, accessoires and sometimes even dresses.
Axes Femme Paris offers a pointcard as well, just ask one of the shop girls about it.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but they opened their online shop through Facebook again.

Uniqlo

This shop is well known for their high quality basics. I'm talking about Uniqlo, also a Japanese fashion brand. There are already operating multiple stores in Paris, but my favorite store interior-wise is Uniqlo Le Marais.

"Disneyland" on a budget

A real Disney fan won't miss Disneyland you think? If you don't have enough time and/or money you definitly will miss this adventure. Like we did.
BUT! There's the Disney Store which we affectionately called "Disneyland Budget". It sure is worth a visit if you're a huge fan, but sadly it offers more items for children than merchandise for adults like Disneyland does.

See you next time

Etude House flooding

Hi!

Here's another Etude House post.

In June I ordered a bunch of products I happen to run out very soon, like my beloved aloe gel. This order was lost for a very long time and arrived two month late.

A while ago I placed another order because I ran out of makeup and they had some nice gifts with the items I wanted to buy nonetheless (and yes, I can't get enough Etude House products...) - unfortunatly it got canceld without any notice by Etude House due to some defect with their security.
When I asked about my order I was told to order again, some of the gift events were already expired, but Etude House promised to add them to my order. Thank you Etude House!

As a compensation for the lack of security Etude House offered me two options to choose from:
Option A: 50% coupon on my next order
Option B: Several products in their original size

Option B was filled with products I wanted to buy back in the past, which I didn't because they were too expensive just to try them and notice that my skin doesn't tolerate them.

Yesterday both packages arrived, filled with pure cuteness and joy.

And here's what I ordered back in June.

What I ordered:

  • Moistfull Aloe Real Soothing Gel (1+1 deal)
  • Lovely Cookie Blusher in Cookie #6
  • I Need You Mask: 2x Aloe; 2x Collagen; 1x Coenzyme Q10

  • Love Homme Everything To 1 Fluid (for the boyfriend)
  • Precious Mineral MOIST Any Cushion in Natural Beige W13
  • 2x Help My Finger Nail Finger Pack
  • Moistfull Super Collagen Cream
  • Drawing Show Brush Eyeliner in #BK401

Compensation gift:

  • Precious Mineral MAGIC Any Cushion in Mint
  • Beauty Shot Face Blur
  • Play 101 Pencil in #1, #49 and #50
  • Precious Mineral BB Cream Perfect Fit N02
  • Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara in #1 Black
  • Moistfull Collagen Cream
  • Wonder Pore Freshner

Event gift:
  • 2 Air Puffs
  • Sweet Drinking Bottle

Whoar! That's a lot right? They were very generous with their compensation gift, so many nice products.

I thought of doing some reviews, but I couldn't decide which items. I guess there are already so many reviews of these items out there, but these reviews are almost always on healthy or acne affected skin from what I saw/read.

So maybe it's interesting for some of you who also suffer from atopic dermatitis to see how my sink reacts to those items!?
If so, leave me a comment which item you would like to see in a review.

See you next time!

Blushing Rabbit

PS: My boyfriend offered to do a simple review of the fluid and Wonder Pore freshener if someone is interested. There aren't many reviews out there for Etude House's male products, aren't there?

Mori Girl Summer Swap

Hello my deers,

Some of you might already know that I organize Mori Girl Swaps through Facebook.

The theme for this round was Notebooks, Tea and Recipes.

I was matched with wonderful Rosette and Aime.

It was a lot of fun to go shopping for Aime, there were too many cute things to choose from.

The swap I received from Rosette was very adventurous.

Luckily she sent it with tracking. After one to two weeks it arrived in my city, but not at my doorstep. The tracking told us, that it was delivered to the original recipient (me) but that wasn't the case. So I started to ask several neighbors if they received my parcel, but none did. I even walked to the street which is often mistaken because of the similarity of the names and asked there is they know where my parcel is. Yes, you guess right, no luck either.
So I called customer service but they told me as it was delivered to the original recipient they are not allowed to tell me where it is and who signate for it.
All we could do was claiming a file and wait.
Two weeks after that the person who lives in #19 rang my bell and brought me the parcel! The mailman must have confused the numbers as I live in #10!

Time to open the swap!
Opening the envelope a delicious fruity smell greeted me.

She completly made the notebook by hand!
I think Rosette has the most beautiful handwriting ever, I'm really envy this. I'm very happy that she's my partner. The letter was a good and enjoyable read and the recipe is easy to understand, definitly going to try to make the Polish Moldy Cake.

Beside the Summer Swap we also did a Polaroid Swap.

Here's what I received from Australia

I really like the wide one, my partner took it in Buderim Forest Park. I get really fond of wide instax pictures, as the cameras tend to have a way better photo quality than the mini version whithout being that much more expensive.

Now I'm very excited for the next swap, which will be held in autumn.

Mori Girl Swap
If you like to join the group on Facebook, please read the rules and how to join the group first, we're very strict!
